Electronic Poker is often a casino game of ability – and using the easy combination of betting method and mathematical know-how, is usually beat. Take note of the "pay schedule" shown on the front of every device, and look particularly at the most crucial facts – how very much the machine will pay for a Full-House vs . a Flush.

An advanced electronic poker player will also realise that a "Jacks-or-Better" machine – classed as a 9/6 machine for paying out 9 coins: one for just about every Full House and six: 1 for each Flush, might be beaten using ideal Basic Electronic Poker Technique. Another device offering the advanced electronic poker gambler an edge is the 10/6 Deuces Wild machine. These odds have been proven as a result of personal computer modelling. For that other machines – even if a gambler plays the Best Video-Poker Method casino game, he will still not win, though will have fun playing!

There are set rules defining Basic Video Poker System regardless of whether wagering online or in a casino – much like the Basic Method for Chemin de fer,

Jacks-or-Better Video-Poker Method

  • In any hand holding a Jack, unless of course the hand is already a winner! – 4 to an open-ended Straight, 4 to a Flush or three into a Straight Flush or Royal Flush – refuse all cards only keeping the Jack
  • In any hand having only 1 card Jack or above, retain the individual great card and refuse all other cards and redraw.
  • In any hand having one pair lower than Jacks, keep the pair and refuse all other cards – unless of course the hand is 4 to a Straight or four to some Flush
  • In any hand having a 2-pair, hold both pair and reject the odd-card.
  • In any hand having 3-of-a-kind retain the 3-of-a-kind and reject the other two cards.
  • In any hand with four with a Straight, retain all 4 Straight cards and re-draw – unless the Straight draw is not open-ended and the hand is with a Jack)
  • In any hand with 4 with a Flush, keep the 4 Flush – unless of course the hand holds 3 to the Royal in which case you would draw to the Royal Flush
  • In any hand with 4-of-a-kind, hold almost everything since a 1-card draw won’t improve the cards.
  • In any hand having 3 to some Royal Flush, reject everything else and go for that Royal – unless of course the hand is already a Sraight Flush!

Practice these strategies whist playing – perhaps even use to refer to the Basic Video Poker methods until they become 2nd nature. Go on …acquire the talent and hit those machines!
